Convalescent / New Mum Meal Boxes - available delivered fresh to your door (Auckland Only). 

A selection of 4 x dinners plus 2 x desserts (for two or more) chosen by the chef to help keep you eating well during your convalescing time.  Meals are changed around each week so you don't receive all the same meals.

Standard meals are for two people or Large will feed 3 - 4 people with a hearty portion each. All meals can be made to go further with a side salad and/or other side dishes.

Meals can include lasagna, pasta dishes, roasts, pies, cottage meals, sticky date pudding, apple caramel crumbles and more. 

We require any allergies to be noted on the order in the delivery notes i.e.: seafood, sesame

Chilled Dessert Care / Serving Information

This product is to be kept refrigerated and used within 5 days

Prior to Serving:  take from the refrigerator and let stand a room temperature for 5 - 10 minutes before serving for best results.

Some decorations/condiments may be provided in a separate containers to be added just before serving, ensuring they remain in optimal condition for presentation at the table i.e.: fresh fruit

Storage / Heating Information

This product is to be kept refrigerated and used within 5 days. This product is freezer safe for up to 4 months.

From Frozen: Remove the outer packaging and place on an oven tray in its inner packaging foil/bamboo dish and let warm up with the oven set to 170C until it is hot through. If the item is browning too quickly on top, cover lightly with a piece of foil.

From Fresh: Remove the outer packaging and heat the oven to 170C. Place the item on an oven tray in its inner packaging foil/bamboo dish and heat till hot through. If the item is browning too quickly on top, cover lightly with a piece of foil.

Some condiments/toppings may be provided in a separate container to be added just before serving, ensuring they remain in optimal condition for presentation at the table i.e.: gravy, custard, caramel sauce

These toppings may need to be warmed gently in the microwave at serving time. Ensure to remove the lid and/or outer packaging where required.

Ingredients / Allergens

Contains Wheat, Milk, Gluten (Wheat), Soy, Egg, Oats, Sulphites except when other dietary requirements are chosen.

However, kindly note that our food products may also come into contact with prevalent allergens, including barley and possibly other notable allergens.

Although we implement stringent measures to mitigate risks and handle allergen-containing items with care, there is a possibility of cross-contamination.

In some of our products Alcohol may be used for flavour. This will be stipulated in the products description. If you wish there to be no alcohol throughout the whole process, please let us know in the comments at checkout.

Pickup / delivery

This item is available for both pick-up (with prior ordering) and delivery Nationwide

While delivery is typically expected overnight throughout the North Island and two days for the South Island once the order is dispatched, it is subject to the courier’s conditions. 

No Saturday deliveries

You are welcome to choose the Urgent Courier option (for Auckland only) for same day delivery on dispatch where available at checkout. P.O.A.

Please ensure that the correct shipping choice and address for the recipient is completed in full as this is transferred directly to the courier during checkout for printing of labels and booking delivery. Wrong choices or redeliveries can incur further costs to you.

Please ensure someone is home or a suitable place to leave the product (at your own risk) is stated on the delivery notes.

You can choose a business/work address for your delivery, please state open hours on delivery notes at checkout.

Couriers

We currently use NZ Couriers, Urgent Couriers, Post Haste and our own delivery service, subject to availability.  As we continue to expand, we will add more national carriers to keep your shipping rates as competitive as possible.

Order processing lead time

We typically require approximately 3 working days lead time to prepare this order. Please note that all items are made to order, and this timeframe does not include delivery time.
